The Plagiarist by Hugh Howey
I love a book with a great ending, and this book certainly ended with a surprise.
I could tell I was reading the same author that impressed me with The Silo Stories. His words paint pictures in my mind. Cheesy, I know–but that’s really how it feels. His descriptions are that good. Am I gushing?
I didn’t love love The Plagiarist like I love love Wool. The main character–the only character, really–is very well written, but quite unlikable. He’s gross and depressing and I pitied him instead of cheered for him. But the writing is phenomenal. The story is completely and wonderfully unique. And the ending took me by complete surprise and I love when that happens!
The bottom line–READ Hugh Howey!
