Fugitive Telemetry (The Murderbot Diaries, Book 6)
By: Martha Wells
My Rating: FIVE out of FIVE STARS
Best for: 18 and up
Yay! Another Murderbot book!
I’m a huge fan of the conflicted AI with a past so tragic it calls itself Murderbot. This is the 6th story in the collection now, and I’ll be first in line for the 7th, 8th, 9th, 100th…you get the picture. The books are short, but Murderbot is deep, so you’ll need to start with book 1 to truly understand.
This time Murderbot is grudgingly tasked with assisting in a murder investigation. Not that it doesn’t want to solve the crime–Murderbot just doesn’t want to have to talk to people.
Introverts, rise up!
Fugitive Telemetry is a clever, high tech who-dun-it, with our favorite introverted SecUnit taking on the role of Hercule Poirot with a great ending and all of the quirks that have earned Murderbot legions of fans.
Language is still a watchout. No sex or violence. Best for 18 and up.
Happy Reading!
