Cute regency mystery with a touch of romance
Review by Charity Bradford

I’m not usually a regency fan, but I liked that this woman’s change of circumstance brought her into her own. It was really about her learning to think and make decisions for herself.

While technically a romance, it read more like a comedic mystery. That might not make sense, but there is humor, a puzzle to solve (a couple actually), ghosts, and an author with a stutter who just wants to stay invisible. The fact that these two step into their potential because of the other is what makes the romance part believable and satisfying.

There were no content issues to note. I chose 14 and up simply because I don’t know that younger readers would be interested.
