Apparently I didn’t review The Way of Kings after my original reading back in 2014. Likely I was too much in awe.

After this re-read in anticipation of the book 3 release in a few weeks, well…

I’m still in awe. Probably even more this time around.

Seriously, I love it. The world, the magic, the story, the characters. Layer after layer of depth. 1,000+ pages that flew by and I was still bummed when it was over.

I have no problem saying this is the best fantasy of the day.

War violence. No language or sex.
