Taran Wanderer (The Chronicles of Prydain #4) by Lloyd Alexander

I’m so happy to have stuck with the early books in this series I was struggling with. There has been a wonderful improvement in the writing quality as the series moves on. It’s finally feeling like the choppy–even lazy–writing has stopped getting in the way of a charming story.

I hope I will find even more improvement in the fifth and final book. I’m off to find out!
