Fragile Things: Short Fictions & Wonders
By: Neil Gaiman
My Rating: Four out of Five Stars
Best for: Adults
It’s hard to believe family-friendly stories like Coraline and Fortunately, the Milk come from the same brain that invented the man-eating vagina in American Gods, but that’s Neil Gaiman for you.
Neil Gaiman is today’s story teller–and he just tells whatever story pops in his head.
At least, that’s the impression I get when I read a collection of Gaiman shorts like those found in Fragile Things. Spooky-fun Gaiman, spooky-creepy Giaman, family-friendly Gaiman, adults-only Gaiman, weird Gaiman. Some of the stories I didn’t want to end, and some of them couldn’t end fast enough.
Either way, if you’re a fan of Neil Gaiman you are certainly going to find quite a lot here to enjoy.
As always, make sure you don’t skip the author forward. He always makes them worth reading.
Sex, violence, language. Adults only.
Happy Reading!
