Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3) by Marissa Meyer

I’m so glad I picked up this series…

…because it’s REALLY fun! Zero complaints. Each book introduces new characters and does an outstanding job of incorporating them into the story with out watering down the experience. The Luner Chronicles are perfect–funny, emotional, stressful, exciting. Strong characters, engaging plot, and even engaging subplots! Plus, with each book being (very subtlety) based on a fairy tale, it’s fun to try and catch the carefully placed parallels between these books and the tales that inspired the characters. The perfect books for young teens. A negative? Yep. The fact that the third book isn’t the end of the series like I was lead to believe. There are still two more books to go…and book 4 doesn’t even come out until Nov 2015! Oh, the torture!
