Off to Be the Wizard (Magic 2.0, #1) by Scott Meyer

A fun surprise!

Things started off rather slowly for me when I first picked up Off to Be the Wizard. I wondered if this would be another self-published flop. Turns out, it’s a self-published success! Once the story got going, I smiled and laughed the whole way through. It’s smart and silly at the same time, and as long as you’re in the mood to not take things too seriously I bet you’ll enjoy it too.
