#TheNameoftheWind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1): WRITE MAN, WRITE!

The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1)
By: Patrick Rothfuss
My Rating: FIVE out of FIVE stars

I’m not sure what to call The Name of the Wind. To say it’s simply a book is wrong.

It’s more.

A story? A tale? An adventure? A journey? Yes, yes, and yes.

I got lost in it, and days after finishing I still haven’t completely found myself.

Carried away? Engrossed? Enthralled? Captivated? Yep.

Exciting? Moving? Touching? Rousing? Oh yes.

Heroic? Epic? Ambitious? Grand? Absolutely.

To say specifics of what is contained between the covers beyond what you can find in the description would be doing you a disservice. If you are looking for book that will take you on an epic journey, that will engross you, and that will move you, pick up this book.

The only bad thing? It has to end.

Well, that, and the fact that book three hasn’t been written and doesn’t have a pub date.

Waiting for book three since 2007…but that only builds my anticipation for the epic re-read I get to do when it finally makes an appearance–it’ll be like reading them for the first time!

Happy Reading!
