The Secret War (Jack Blank Adventure, #2) by Matt Myklusch

Like the Accidental Hero, I think any review of The Secret War must be done through the eyes of the intended readers . . . kids ages 8-14 or so. To my adult thinking, the plot is too shallow and simplistic; the dialoge is forced and unnatural. But no kids will worry about that . . . this book is all about the story, and the story is a whole lot of fun!

I’m glad I already have book number three ready to go . . . there’s a cliffhanger at the end of The Secret War that’s going to drive you crazy!
