Since I know YOU would never suggest this for her, ALL Jane Austen. They are well written, often funnier than you’d think and will make her want to get married (just kidding!). And if you don’t want to do them all, definitely start with Pride and Prejudice or Emma. Plus there’s the added bonus that after she finishes the book, there are approximately 12 movie versions of each book!
