Not Till We Are Lost (Bobiverse, #5)

Not Till We Are Lost (Bobiverse #5)
By: Dennis E. Taylor
My Rating: FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS
Best for: 16 and up

I LOVE THE BOBIVERSE!

Haven’t jumped on the Bobiverse train yet? If you’re a fan of nerdy, easy-to-read, laugh-out-loud ScyFy, what the heck are you waiting for?!

Not Till We Are Lost is book 5 of Bob’s story: former human, current AI brain of a self-replicating space probe, and by now father to an entire space civilization of Bob-replicas–aka: The Bobiverse.

The Bobs have saved humanity, discovered new civilizations, advanced technology to ridiculous heights, and expanded the known universe. What else is there to do? The Bob’s are getting restless, and growing pains have created factions inside the Bobiverse. On top of that, there is a whole lot of anti-Bob sentiment among the humans. But never fear, the Bob’s are up to the task! There are still new species to discover, still new tech to master, and still a whole bunch of really cool geeky space science to wrap your head around!

Like the other books in the series, Book 5 is a well written, unique ScyFy story with smart humor, real science, and great characters. Hope you like Star Trek jokes!

My only complaint here is this book, unexpectedly, ends without the plot points resolved. I guess I need to wait now for book 6–and I HATE waiting!

No violence or sex, but I was surprised to find more language this time around–a handful of f-bombs that were missing from the first 3 books. I’ll say book five is best for 16 and up.

Happy Reading!
