Summer of the Monkeys

10 and up
Just as good as when I was 10!
Guest Review by Julie Hilton
A boy grows up fast one summer with a bunch of monkeys, some hard choices, and great lessons. A classic coming of age story I loved as a child.
Re-reading as an adult, it is just as good a story with even more powerful lessons.
What did I love most about this book? The interconnectedness of lives.
No content concerns. This book is recommended for all ages.
Happy Reading!

My teacher read this to my fourth grade class and I have never forgotten it. I remember the whole class laughing at the antics of the monkeys. It was just a wholly delightful experience.
