The Alloy of Law (Mistborn, #4) by Brandon Sanderson

Re-Reading to prepare for Shadows of Self…

Not sure why I didn’t give this book 5 stars to start with. I loved it this time around. All set for Shadows of Self and The Bands of Mourning.

11/9/12 to 11/19/12
The Alloy of Law….hmm, what to say about it?

It started off slow and asked me to invest in the characters before I knew them well enough. As the story progressed things finally started to pick up, and I even felt like I liked the main characters. They never endeared themselves to me, however, and I’ve already forgotten about them. Luckily, the story that started slow eventually picked up steam and turned into something really exciting!

The whole story felt like a set up for something more, and I wish I’d have know that because I likely would have waited until there was more to read!

Very fun–B.S. writes the best fight scenes ever! I recommend to all Mistborn fans, bit be prepared to feel like there’s more to the story that we don’t know about yet!
